Are you able to move? I couldn't move so I just spam shot all the zombies from the front porch. Gotta save the baby!
Yes, you can teleport by using the Primary Button on the Left controller. (The 'X' button on Oculus)
Damn, first time i immediately lost, because killed the baby :-D
It's a quick little game, where you actually can not do much more than shooting zombies. But that's pretty fun!
Sound is cool. And i don't know why, but somehow i like these particles. The whole game feels a bit like it's put together from different assetpackages with not perfectly matching styles, what in this case somehow works pretty well and gives this charme of a jam-prototype^^
All in all enjoyed playing it.
Just a few little points as feedback:
(Btw: I've played v4 apk on Quest 2)
Thanks for checking it out, Glade you liked it!
Yah, I was a solo developer on this project and I spent way too much time trying to find assets. I finally gave up and just used what I could find and ran with it.
I made the particles, but wish I had more time to make them better but glad you liked what I had.
Thanks for the feedback!
So straight away I shot the baby, not sure why, it felt like the right thing to do. But once I restarted it I enjoyed protecting it with my life. Was very laggy on my OQ but not unbearable and could do with an in game restart button rather than turning the app on and off again, either way nice job :)
LOL
I'm glade you turned your life around ;)
Thanks!
Yes, definitely should have put a restart button. I forget how nice a restart button is when I'm testing since I'm usually just running it once per test and in the editor you only have to push the play button twice if you want to do more.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good looking game, and nicely animated zombies. Was quite easy though and not very challenging - still enjoyed playing it though. I think adding sounds would've helped a lot...
Thanks! Yah, I was pushing hard at the end but didn't have time to tune or do the things I needed. Had a LOT of delays early on. Too much time looking for assets, trying to think of a design that fit the Theme and a LOT of weird bugs.
Maybe next time :)
I added an after submission update (Not used for voting) that's a bit better.
Wish I had 1 more day for the Jam...
Oh, btw, which version did you play? I thought I had some sound in the submission version...
Is the right controller supposed to work? Either way, I was able to kill all of them without it. Except the baby, which was unfortunately protected by the house, but oh well, maybe next time. (Yes, I mean I killed everyone, including myself at the end)
Ha ha...
So the right controller is only for teleport. I was solo on this project and didn't have time to clean things up
Thank God the house saved the baby! - Lol
I had actually intended to have the babies death from yourself or the zombies be the main Game Over senario but sadly didn't have time to finish the original design.
Probably add it soon!
P.S
But no intentionally trying to kill the poor little baby! :)
you cant die, kinda easy, gun flew off my hand
Oh, actually when the Gun drops you have died.
I ran out of time and didn't get a Game-over screen in... :
