I just came out of a game jam where we made a game that has a setting that was in a castle, and one of the ideas that was scraped was a vampire, it came to me when I was in that scope:

With the idea of transforming into a vampire and feeling your body changing while trying to save yourself, the track goes from a depressed melody to an angrier melody that ends abruptly in despair.
