Wow... My heart. This game quite got me in a surprising way... The narrative is SO impressive and I am pretty shocked. I love sentimental games so much, you did an excellent job!

Oh man, this one put a lump in my throat. Tenderly written, heartbreaking, and sweet.
Hi! Thank you so, so much! We were hoping to take a more emotional twist on the prompt and are so glad that people enjoyed it :,D
aahh im glad it got through !! we did our best thank you so much !!!
(MINOR SPOILERS)
The characters in this one were amazing! It’s super impressive how much you’ve managed to flesh them out over the course of one tabletop-gone-wrong. Our writer found Esra’s inner workaholic conflicts painfully relatable. Andy and Esra’s friendship felt touching, real, and “lived-in” - we would have loved to find out more about their joint backstory and the sources of Andy’s trauma (tentatively hopeful you’ll write more about them??). The division between narration/dialogue got confusing at times, but the writing was very strong and immersive. The background is absolutely stunning, and the sprites were expressive and full of personality! It would be awesome to see more reliance on “visual” storytelling when the art already builds a cohesive picture - for example, at the start of the novel, when Andy describes her own appearance, you could just jump straight into the part where she reflects on things that weren’t already visible in the sprite (like her sister’s opinions on her clothing).
The novel left us with a sweet melancholic feeling of wanting to hug and play tabletops… >_>
Hello! I'm one of the co-writers of Club and Spade and the main writer for Esra ^_^ ( I too resonate with you, 17ConfusedVillains writer). First of all, thank you so much for your sweet message and feedback! This was our first-ever attempt at a visual novel which was definitely a delightful learning experience, but we are beyond grateful for any possible advice we can get for any future projects. Admittedly, Andy and Esra's relationship is part of a larger story that we could not realistically expand in four days - but people's interest in learning more about the characters and their story is very motivating! Thank you so much again for your heartwarming message <3
thank you so much for the feedback !!! im sure all of us would definitely love to work on a more expansive project and these notes are super helpful to keep in mind!! thanks you playing !! im glad you enjoyed!
This was such a lovely little game, I was almost tearing up at the end.
Ahhh!! TYSM!
Andy and Esra's story was sweet! It played out delicately enough to feel just how fragile and important their friendship is. You accomplished plucking at my heartstrings! I felt those emotions deeply.
