Really liked this one! I got very attached to Leo and loved seeing his and Sirius’ relationship unfold through the flashbacks. It felt very complete and well planned for something being made in 10 days. Also very cool seeing those intimidating speech bubbles being used! I only had time to finish 2 endings for now but will definitely go back to experience the others!

Woah... I've never seen a game use those ominous UI speech bubbles in the gui folder, but now I kinda want more to do just that...

Every story with Leo made me that much more anxious for his possible recovery because I really did grow to be endeared to him! Like PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GET UP to a character I'd yet to truly talk to... That aside, the sound effects and music were great! Is it weird to fangirl over a clock sound effect? :P

This one got me.  Usually I get an ending or two and am content with a game. I try to play all the endings and branches for Jam games, and sometimes it can be a slog, but not this time. The story was so engaging, and the art even earned positive commentary from my roommate when she walked past my desk. I was disappointed when I realized I'd read all there was to read.

I have so many questions, but in that good way. That way where a story makes you want to know everything about a world and its characters.  My fanfic impulses are tingling.  Well done.

The speech bubbles were so fun! It looks like branching out with UI is your theme for these jams and I love it. I also may not or may not be jealous of Orion’s hair- tell me your secret, damn it!

This really is just an incredibly put together VN for the amount of time you had, an especially for a solo dev. The legendary experience shows. Nice job!

I only managed to get 3 of the 5 endings but I loved all the variations in this game and the different directions it could go! Also the text bubbles was such a neat feature and I really liked the look of it. The whole thing was just well put together and enjoyable to play!

As it's a long game (especially for a non-native), I waited until the weekend to play it. In the end, the story was interesting and the environment dynamic, so the time passed much quicker than I thought it would. I'm glad I met Orion and Leo.

However, I do have one regret, which is that there was too much overlap between the text and the visuals. You're artistically talented, it's a shame not to let the visuals speak for themselves. For example, when a character smiles or blushes, the sprite illustrates it very well, so why write it? The same goes for the backgrounds. This is a very personal opinion, but I think the experience would be enhanced by relying more on your illustrations.

Starlit Regrets burns slowly enough to make the endgame’s twist punch unexpectedly hard — it’s a great way to recontextualize all the choices the player already made with Orion. The pretty boys are, of course, very pretty — the sprite work is strong and just cannot stop staring into Orion’s eyes someone please stop me please. The layered speech bubbles are really nice UX as well, letting me see the recent history of the conversation almost NVL-style.

I loved the aesthetic and design of this game, and the amount of endings you can accomplish is always awesome! I only discovered two of the endings, both drastically different from one another which I loved. And the plot twist ! I think this is a solid VN with detailed art and a great usage of flashbacks when needed.
