this style of art is something you do see often, love the look and sound but, like others have said, the difficulty is brutal, overall 4/5!
Difficulty on this is brutal! I wanted to play more cause the look and style of this is awesome, but I just kept getting destroyed with nothing but a knife in hand ๐ (is there some trick to timing the melee combat that I'm missing?).
Still looks rad and feels polished!
Update is on its way! :D Ive reduced the enemy damage to the player. Yeah there is a trick, you gotta time the attack, and move back, because the melee enemies will instantly hurt you when near.
Just managed to find the time to play the update! Still brutally difficult, but I DID manage to get the axe and then the shotgun/musket and make it to the end of the level. Was a lot of fun, and I the difficulty forced me to sometimes run away and find health or ammo at certain points so I could come back and finish off certain enemies (particularly those bone monsters). Awesome stuff!
I absolutely love the look and sound of this thing, but unless I've missed something, that difficulty is utterly pulverising ๐ต

Thanks!! :D Yeah I might have gone all Dark Souls in this. If you time your attacks while moving back, you should be ok :D Update is coming very soon! :)
