Nice work. Cool concept and actually pretty challenging.  Its kinda frustrating in the beginning when youre trying to read the text in the two second timers at the same time.XD

I like the minit kind of idea, where u progress in time iterations but platforming feels really clunky therefore it gets frustrating at times.

Developer

Yeah, I was in a rush when creating the platformer movement but I tried my best with balancing the movement for the game.

I think progress bar instead of count down would be whole a lot better, also is it intentional that level automatically completes, whenever you press esc button? Overall, great game!

I wanted to make a progress bar for the timer and power ups but I didn't have enough time, also I made it so when you press the escape key it will just return you to the main menu, although thanks for playing my game.

Unfortunately, space for jump doesn't work most of the time. If I tap S I can't jump at all. Also, if the player eats few powerups collision detection sometimes doesn't work and you fly through the walls. I think it would be better if checkpoints give you bonus time +2 seconds and respawn you only when it ticks down. So if you are precise enough, you can do the level in one go.

Developer

When you press the key it makes the player fall faster so maybe that's why you couldn't jump, I'll also have a closer look at why the space key wasn't working sometimes. What level did the player fly through the walls?

I was initially thinking about adding two seconds to the timer when the player reaches the checkpoint but it's always interesting to see what other people think.

Can't remember exactly, sorry. I think it happend in second one or third, basically I took 2 powerups in the row and flew through the wall :D

I enjoyed it. The controls were a little bit clunky, but the level design was interesting. I really enjoyed the ladder section, and the fake out with the So close...yet so far level.

Developer

I really enjoyed making those levels .

Monospace font & dark background & glowing objects. Cool uniformity in the aesthetics.

2 second idea also works great in creating tension. Really enjoyed this one.

I was quite confused about how the game matches the theme and then it hit me that whenever i dont reach the checkpoint before 2 seconds the level restarts but that also made the game ultrahard but good idea my dude

Developer

Thanks for playing the game. You just reminded me that I forgot to put how the game links to the theme on the page.
