I am very impressed with the soundwave shaders and really all visual aspects of the game. As other commenters mentioned, my only problem with the game was the aiming, and either switching around the controls for that or unhiding the mouse cursor would do wonders for the game. You've got a good base for a good game here. I know that with more time you'll be able to flesh out the controls, add some more enemies, levels, and some more mechanics (the sonar grenade you mentioned sounds like it would be really cool)

I'll start with all the great things about this, 3d design seems to be spot on for the story, the story is okay but It didnt sink me in, I dont have patience to finish this though because of how bad the aiming is, I played webgl on itch's full screen (Check this out https://seansleblanc.itch.io/better-minimal-webgl-template), and my cursor was invisible and 100% of the time flew out of game window which made aiming impossible, movement seemed to be manageable, although not explained anywhere if any other buttons do anything, try locking cursor to center, and unlocking on esc or something like that

thanks for the detailed feedback!, I had added tutorial in the pause menu, unfortunately I wanted to add a tutorial in the start but I ran out of time,  will surely continue on this project.. thanks again!

I would definitely love to see this fleshed out. The concept and art style give a creepy yet calming vibe.

Interesting concept. Loved the way you did the colors and contrast. I had the same issues as the other commenters. I really wanted to reload, and I couldn't shoot while running sometimes. Very interesting game and environment.

Thanks for playing! Could only do so much in the given time😅, .. spent most of my time to get the shader working for the sonar rings .. but I liked how it turned out 😇 ..if I fix all the bugs and add some new features like sonar grenades and stuff I think the game will be good and not just for the jam 🙌 what do you say?

I enjoyed the environment, and I think fixing the controls would help a lot. I feel you on the time constraint. I think this prototype could be interesting to build off.

Great game! The sound waves look really cool. The movement on WASD was a bit weird but it was fun to play because of the shooting rate, and the graphics being smooth. Good job!!!

I often found myself struggling to find doors or know where I'm going (though I know that is the point) but the game is still cool, fun, and sometimes a bit scary (if your not expecting something). great job! Also I don’t recommend hiding the mouse/cursor for games like this as it makes aiming slightly confusing.

Glad you liked it! had a hoot while developing it, with your comment i see a lot of scope for jumps scares maybe after the jam ill add those too :D
