A very well executed platformer/puzzle game! The playability was tip top, the difficulty was great, you guys exploited your core mechanics to very well. The character is cute, the childish premise is funny and it was super easy to understand exactly what to do and how to play without reading the game's controls!
One negative feedback: the music is way too loud. Some people added Music volume settings but we feel like a tweak to the music volume in Unity would do the trick.
Regardless, congrats, in our top 5 of this game jam!
Interesting choice of piano music! Fun little art style and definitely a lesson that needs to be shown to the real world. The only I have to say is the character's ability to jump to the side of boxes and underneath them felt a little odd (as if the character is flying). An alternative solution I would suggest is coyote time, jump buffering, wall jumps, or maybe even climbing (movement similar to Celeste). Other than that, I love the little character and the creative idea of a flute! The flute is really the focal point of the game and maybe tying in some art about flutes will further deepen that concept. Great job! Creating a game in only 9 days is extremely impressive and you should be proud of yourself!
Overall quite fun. The music was really nice, and the levels were well designed. My only gripe was that the infinite jumping against the side of blocks felt weird for a platformer.
Really nice game had fun playing it and enjoyed the silly little story.Good job!
This was a great entry! Did I miss something with the sad puppy? I couldn't figure out what that was all about. I had a good time, the music was great, and the atmosphere was cohesive. Well done!
