What if I’ve never made a game before?

This game jam is for you. Professors will be available on Discord to mentor you and help you solve problems. Veteran jammers and experienced developers are strongly encouraged to partner with and mentor newbies!

Diversifiers

Diversifiers are voluntary secondary constraints that individual teams can choose to add to their game for an additional challenge. If you implement any of these diversifiers in your game, please mention them in your game's description.

• Art - Your game is about creating art or uses a real-world art style not commonly used in games.
• Retro arcade style - Your game's art, audio, and mechanics are evocative of 70's-90's arcade games.
• You're not the main character - You play as a sidekick, a villain, an NPC, or something other than the main character.

How do I submit my game?

Judging will begin at 5:30 pm on Sunday at the theater and on Discord.

Upload your build to this jam page and be prepared to present your game. Awards will follow immediately after judging.
