This felt like a solid pitch to present the idea of the world you started to build. We can tell that a lot of thought has been put into each character, each moment, the timeline of it all, it's so impressive to see that it happened in such a short time too! I love the two brother deamons so soooo much! I could imagine them influencing the world in so many ways!

I'm biased because I adore Mike Mignola and I could feel that influence seep through in great ways here : the bold shadows that make use focus on specific details in the art. The limited color palette, the thick and angular lines. I think that choice was perfect because it totally fits the mood and you've made it your own in a good way. Maybe it's because I'm an illustrator, but I can see how long all this could take. That's massive! Good job!

Beautifully stylised, I love the limited palate spreading both between text and images, but also the fact you're not afraid to use more muted reds in between the bright, gaudy ones to accentuate or soften details. The writing is indeed suitably gothic and evocative, though I will mention I spotted a few typos and word skips, so do give it a editorial pick through before you go final final. I do think some more arrangement for accessible reading would help, but I'm sure that can be looked at as you move forward and wouldn't want it to hurt the aesthetics. Overall very well put together!

Extremely evocative writing and gorgeous art! This is some excellent lore to a very interesting world. I'm really looking forward to what's next from y'all! Amazing work

Thanks for your unending support! This project would never have been pulled together if it wasn't for the game jam giving us an extra push to make something. It's been a great learning process for the both of us and has pushed us both to be better in our crafts. This is the first time we've really got anything together, and there's still so much to do! I'm gonna start working on a road map this week and really start getting everything we need to make a fully playable weirdo gothic campaign. Can't wait to have more to show off soon.

the art and writing in this are really solid. there’s definitely been a lot of care and work put into the world building for this setting.  I look forward to seeing what come from it!

J and I really appreciate the support! I'm glad our gothic setting is getting the same love we put into researching and making it. We've recently been really into vampires and other classic horror ghoulies, and with mutual love for the settings, lore, and aesthetics of older table top games, we felt like we could do something cool. We're really excited to keep working on it, and we'll have a lot more to show off as we start making more progress!

Art is amazing, and the lore is intriguing; especially the mysterious Florence. Look forward to seeing what this leads to! (Also, etiolate is a great word and used perfectly here!)

Thank you! This has been a really fun project for us to put together. We both pushed each other to get something cool done and we both think it came out nicely. There's always improvements to be made, but as a first time writer, I'm glad to hear I didn't do too bad. :)

J and I both really appreciate the support, and look forward to making more, hopefully playable stuff in the future. We're usually both working on bits and pieces, so a larger project should come around sooner or later!
