Did you tried to learn me something ? Not a good move :/

Nice retro game effects ;) which engine did you use ?

Developer

Thanks! It's PICO-8, a low-powered retro "fantasy console" https://www.lexaloffle.com/pico-8.php

I really felt like I was playing on my GameBoy, congrats on the visuals and the sound effects !

I used to know the answers to all of these before - now I just feel stupid :D

I had a math-heavy cursus but that was 7+ years ago and now I'm bad ahah

Still Pico8 should have been a fun platform to dev on, and nice of point similarities like ellispsis equations and discriminant !

I had a good moment, trying to remember all the stuff I learnt... a long time ago! Proud of a few things, and contrite on others :)

Very nice to give a little illustration.

On possible enhancements:

  • I find the font difficult to read.
  • It would have been really nice to be able to buy hints, to help lazy memories
  • and a "pass" option, so I don't have to test blindly when I don't know

Thanks for this little interesting and pleasant moment

Me, a physics graduate: Welp, I guess I'm gonna change my field then

Jokes aside, very nice execution especially considering you used pico-8! Perhaps after the first wrong answer it would be nice to give the player the hint (e.g "the pythagorean's theorem states that a^2 + b^2 = c^2")

Nice idea and execution. Unfortunately my math skills are really lacking, so I had to give up early on. :|
