Loved it! I was already thinking it was a winning idea before I realised there was a stage 2, this could be expanded into a bigger game definitely, very good job!
Thank you very much for playing, and for the kind words! :)
That was a lot of fun! I love the telegraphed attacks and how "fluid" the whole experience. Great bathroom boss!
Thank you very much for playing and for your feedback! Glad you enjoyed it, I had a lot of fun making it!
What a great game! This was exactly what I was looking for in this jam. The animations are so smooth! What was your inspiration for the gameplay?
Thank you for playing, and for the comments! No inspirations I could name off the top of my head, but I’ve been interested for a while in Sorg style telegraphed attack systems - more due to my lack of capability + jam time limit I had to keep it restricted to a grid, but for the future I’d love to try doing dynamic ones!
Congratulations on this great game!
At first I thought “I like the idea, but it's a bit simple”. And then when stage 2 started, I died xD. I ended up beating those damn toilets in 1m21 on my second try. So well done for doing it in 3 hours and for making the graphic and sound assets!
Thank you so much for playing! In hindsight I would love to have made stage 1 shorter (maybe 3/4 health compared to current), but my play testing was restricted to “Why on earth does the player healthbar not go down when it worked earlier?!”.
I just scraped in under the 3 hours on this one, with reusability of the boss code being the only way it worked out - that and the art and sound all being 1 quick attempt and immediately put it in the game!
It's so fun to play :)
Glad to hear, thank you for playing! :)
