The concept and simple style of the game were outstanding! The jumping was cool, but I wish you could move (horizontally) while falling in the air.
Yeah, I could see the desire for control in the air! I was going for a difficult feel. Something that you'd need to try multiple times to succeed and, sometimes, get set back. I was going for the feel of games like Jump King! Thank for playing and for your comment! 😃
I really like the jumping mechanic—it feels like it has a lot of potential for expanding into different gameplay elements. Great job with that!
Thank you! I appreciate you leaving a comment! 😃
I really like the jumping mechanics - it’s fun bouncing off of walls and landing in the right place. If I were to make one change, I think that there should be an indicator for which direction you’re going to jump in, as well as a (toggleable) jump arc indicator. There’s something really cool here, and I’m glad that I got to play ^_^
I know! I was just working on this (post jam) and added a face for the square that will indicate your direction! It was one of my gripes with gameplay as well, I just didn't have the time once I'd realized how nice it would be to have an indicator. Thanks for playing!
great game! interesting mechanics of jumping and bouncing off walls ; )
Thank you and thanks for playing!
Quite an interesting game. I liked the idea of the game. But the controls turned out to be inconvenient for me.
That's fair. I feel it has to be a little quirky in order to have precise movement for the type of game I was going for (Jump King is what I sort of based this on). Thanks for playing!
