Great solution for AI in 3h gamejam!

nice fun game! For 3 hours this is pretty impressive, and it has good game balance and fun mechanics too! Great job!

Simple, but well balanced and entertaining.

With some nice graphics, a bit more sounds and an upgrades market, it could be super fun. And perhaps also a less punitive consequence on any contact.

And personnaly, I found Ok to have the menu on the same screen. Just a pity to have to switch from keyborad to mouse and back to start again.

Cool idea! In general, the idea of a raid is a cool mechanic! We will have to try to implement it in another setting)

Fun idea. I think it would have felt better if the sharks looked like sharks.

Great game. Having the air meter balance how long you can be underwater and the life meter let you know how close your cutting it is intuitive and interesting. On top of that, I like your choice of sound effects.

Some feedback:

  • I feel like this game could've benefited from background noise. Being above water was too silent compared to underwater.
  • Having a separate scene for the menu would've been good.
  • I felt like the things on the floor were gold. Upon picking them up, the first thing I looked for was upgrades. Implementing those would've been great.
  • If possible, include WASD controls as a second option to arrow controls.

Hi, i thought about background noise (wind sound) when you are above the surface, but i had no noise which was different enough from the underwater noise/sound.

With so little time i had no time to add a menu etc. and no even any sprites lol

Yeah the things on the ground should be gold coins but i had no coin sprite^^ and no time to add any upgrades (for example longer air/breath etc.)

thanks for playing and for the feedback

We had a quite similar approach to this theme :D And the same name too! The game was really good and it was exciting to see how long the oxygen would last. Combining the oxygen mechanics with the life meter worked very well. The sharks were super scary (꒪ȏ꒪;)
