i like zoomed out games, it makes me feel free, i upgrade the sonar system so much that's why i had some hard time lol , after i got more money i upgrade the smaller circle , which makes it easy for me , well no upgrade for the speed thou hehe
great game
+ never hated the birds sound like this time , feel like the laugh at me
> feel like the laugh at me
Yes, you feel well :)
Hi, really cool game. quite good for the little time. nice that you included upgrades and different levels. is it so that you will still get a response from already found items? other than that, really cool sonar mechanic! i enjoyed playing your game.
> you will still get a response from already found items
Yes, I was not sure, and finally chose this version, as rocks and monster should not be removed, I kept same rle for treasures.
You find it un-intuitive?
Hi, yeah i thought if i would be a boat/diver with a sonar and pick up the treasures for making money, there would be no stuff left at the bottom to give me a sonar feedback anymore? i would remove the sonar feedback after the player has found the treasure.
And at first the player has to understand that rocks and fish give also a sonar response.
I enjoyed the game.
Took me a minute to understand how, but it is definitely possible to triangulate the treasure using the audio cues alone. The different objects in the water helped out quite a bit with figuring that out.
Maybe there should be a bonus for harder missions, since atm it seems like the best way to play is just to repeat the easiest mission (unless I missed something).
Yes you're right. The global game loop is not finished, there is no final goal.
And indeed I though I would let the players understand the meaning of the different sonar sounds (and how to explain them quickly? lol). Perhaps it's a bit too complex for a gamejam. Having the same ping for all kind of objects was an option also.
A very cool idea! Only with the signal you either messed up something, or overcomplicated, because I could not fully figure out how to interpret the received signals :(
Thanks for playing and your feedback
I found it really fun, I enjoyed all the levels. The upgrade system is a nice touch!
Thanks for your feedback!
I found it very hard xD But i had fun circling around one x for 10 minutes until I ran out of fuel haha
The shark was a nice touch, adds a lot to the environment :)
Yes, I had very little time to balance the difficulty !
If I could rewind, I would propose a much wider "search area" from the begining, I think.
I'm very confused, but the game does seem to have quite a lot to do.
Sorry if it was not clear. I agree it's complex for a gamejam game, and explainations are not easy when it comes to sounds...
