This is a neat mechanic! With the flaws sanded away, this could be a fun and frantic experience. I wish the artwork for the food was a little more readable. It was hard to tell what things were, and therefore whether they were finished cooking. Connecting the wires to the microwaves was also a bit finicky. But I really like the concept and would love to see how it gets expanded in the future. Unfortunately, I wasn't patient enough to beat it - "it's a tragedy!"
Thank you for playing! It's not that easy to convey food readiness in pixel art, so generally uncooked is yellowish/pink, while cooked is brown. Wires need to be connected to the tops of microwaves.
I enjoyed the game, the art was great and I thought the gameplay was fun. Maybe a little difficult but still fun. Great job!

This was a fun game and nice challenge. Not sure if I'm imagining this, but I appreciated how the different types of food had different cook times (the chicken leg seemed to cook the fastest?) The most frustrating part is having to precisely dock the machine to the exact top of the microwave; I would have much preferred if the hitbox were larger. Regardless, I enjoyed this and appreciated the experience and learning curve.
Thank you for playing! The cooking times are actually all randomized between 3 and 6 seconds, I always felt like the hotdog cooks fastest. Good that such a slight change brings variety.
I was able to feed everyone with -20 seconds remaining! Couldn't really figure out how to use all the microwaves at once, just kinda used one over and over, but apparently too slow? Anyway, art's great, always cool to see scratch games. Well done!
Wait you were able to beat the game using a single microwave with 20 seconds to spare? That is crazy. I tried that first and ran out of time, lol...

Thank you for playing! I didn't want to be too harsh and fail you if time runs out, so you can still finish if you go overtime. It just acts as your score. The intended way is to use at least 2 microwaves at once, you can't really make it in time with less.
