Amazing visuals, really impressive that this was all done in 3 hours.

A pretty decent parkour game with a good lesson, would love to see more obstacles!

I'm imagining a version of this game where the player just burns up if they try to wait in the cabin. That would've been a bit of dark humor, but even without that this is a pretty good game.

Wow, this is super impressive for three hours. Very nice and clean looking visuals, the music is good to. I am not quite sure how exactly you made the link from patience to everything is on fire, but it is a nice entry for sure!

Developer

Yeah, originally there was a pretty strong connection to the theme, but as the concept grew and developed, the theme kinda got pushed back a little bit. Kind of something I need to work on for these jams

parallax background  is beautiful. nice job. you can  jump and go on the left side  , then you fall forever.

So liked the visuals, liked the music, was fun to play.  Two things I didn't like were that the spacebar could trigger the jump multiple times if you held it down, and when I died, the game didn't restart.  But I thought the game was solid, great job!

The game didn't restart as in you couldn't keep playing after dying? That wasn't something I ever ran into so that's interesting.

yeah it happened twice, both times just an orange screen with the character on it.  I just refreshed the page to try again.

Developer

I'm sorry, I'll probably try to troubleshoot that after the jam ends

Very nice entry! The giant flame blasts were pretty scary. The character was a little hard to see against the background especially in the fog but maybe that was intentional?

Wow – nice animations – nice gameplay – was very much fun!

I liked the game! At the beginning I thought I had to be patient inside the house and not leave! ahahha so I stayed there for a while. NTL Great game and atmosphere.

i posted this comment under the game page forgetting that it wasn't the submission page because I am an intellectual, so here it is again:

amazing

gameplay is good (except the burning log is a bit hard), audio is pretty decent (I gave background music feedback on discord), the visuals are amazing. The way the game starts is great - the opening animation got me laughing. The ending is also good. I feel like the theme you put in could have been better represented, but hey, it's a three hour game jam. For what it is, it's near perfect.

Scratch queen takes it again, I think.
