I really liked the concept of this game !!!! Cheers

I was a really fun puzzle game. Can't wait to see what you'll do with this post jam :)

Developer

Thanks - I certainly  have some ideas I wanna explore and some stuff to fix left  :)

I like it. Lelels feel balanced, and its fun to play. I like the way you have to use the boxes and stairs to get the flags before you throw them away. Also the red scary blocks makes you think fast and it feels rewarding to overcome the levels. I would like some kind of indications that the red blocks are spawning and possibly where they come from though, but not a big issue. Very well-made game! Gj :)

Thanks for your feedback. Yeah I think that is one of the first things to do for the post-jam-version. There is an annoying sound that plays when an object gets turned into a ghost but that sound is so annoying that I turned the volume way down and since a rising ghost isn't a threat till way later and you can't usually see it rise it's not really useful anyway. I thought about making the level way darker and putting a smoke fountain with light pointing up at the position where the ghost is going ro rise since I did something like that in a previous game but that was 2D and I didn't think I could do that in 3D within the time I had left :)

Thanks again - glad you liked my game :)

amazing

Thanks - glad you liked it :)

The idea is wonderful and perfect for the theme! But I found the locked camera to be very frustrating.

Overwise great job!

Developer(+1)

It isn't locked. That's just Unity WebGL being buggy I think. You have to left-click in the window then it "unlocks".

Great variety. What starts out as an ordinary puzzler gets crazy and ridiculous soon. Frantically pushing these objects around the scene brings a lot of joy . Thumbs up!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback. I was kinda worriedat first the idea would quickly get boring.

I am glad that wasn't the case and that you enjoyed it !

That was really well made, especially for such a short time frame. Playing with physics in games is almost always fun. The fact that you managed to make that into a game with some challenge is so cool. The feeling of rush that comes with knowing the closer you get to the goal, the more enemies will come after you, is a really great idea and concept. I also liked how it helped you understand the game but didn't try to hold your hand and assumed you'd be able to figure out the mechanics with a bit of guidance. This was a really fun game! Great job!

Thanks a lot for your feedback. Using Unitys First Person Core as a base really helped speed things up since it meant I had a decent Player Controller, Push Script and Enviroment already set up so that I could focus on other stuff and get so much more done.

Glad you enjoyed it !

liked the concept ...fits the theme nicely! the starting tutorial is very good ...it makes the player ready. I also liked the ghost concept, it makes the game more challenging ...overall nice and fun game to play.

Developer(+1)

Thanks - yeah without the ghosts it would have been rather boring I guess. They took almost as much time to get to do what they were supposed to do then creating levels and soundtrack together. Glad you liked it :)

This is right on theme, some warning for when the ghosts appear would be great but didn't actually become an issue after the first time they appeared. The UI for how much of each object is left was really helpful the first time stairs showed up and I didn't know I had to push them off. Awesome stuff

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback. I kinda wanted to surprise the player with the ghosts and tried to hint at them in the first level which contained boxes. Nobody who playtested actually followed the instructions and watched the boxes fall which would have lead to them finding the ghosts though. I guess that hint didn't work. Maybe I'll add another hint in the level after that or something.

Submitted(+1)

I didn't do that either, I didn't realise what was happening until I saw the stair ghosts

Developer

I guess there is little reason to finish reading that note since the relevant information is at the start. Well, we live and learn :)

Nice job! Great take on the theme and solid execution.

Developer

Thank you - was lots of funto create too :)

Great job! You picked an interesting premise and selected the right tools to allow you to complete the game in the short development time. I really hope this is something you're proud of, because it's great!

Developer

Thanks - I am pretty proud that I got it done.

I was kinda afraid that after not having created a game for almost a year I would get stuck and throw it again but I am glad I pulled through.

I think this is my favourite application of the theme I've seen so far. The idea of frantically mashing your face into objects to eject them from the world before hurling yourself off the edge with them is kind of hilarious.

Excellent work!

Developer

Thanks, I am glad you liked it.  I really like the hurling myself part too  - so statisfying after the more difficult levels to finally jump down to victory :)
