This one’s pretty fun! I’d love to see a downloadable version of this, because sometimes the Ctrl doesn’t register in the web version (I’ve noticed this a lot with my Godot projects), and it can often lock up the browser.

had a blast with this one! it's quite challenging without being too punishing. i liked the overall aesthetics! however, at first i don't know where to put the gray box until i found out it's on the top one. my suggestion would be to differentiate the package not solely by its color (you can label it with numbers, or shapes, etc) because it would confuse people with colorblindness

Nice game with some really cool visuals and audio. I found the gameplay to be a little bit awkward but still enjoyable.

Very good game and very good game design with the indication which tile breaks next. The bullets also move with a good speed and are easily avoidable, as long as there is enough space. Music and sound effects are top 👍

Two things that I didn't like:

  • The gray area on the top was not 100% intuitive, although I through the packages there because that's the only free area. Maybe change the color to yellow 😉
  • I'm not a fan of the floaty controls for the character. Feels like he is moving on ice. A more direct response would be nice, but that's more of a personal thing. Some games go into that direction, some into the other. 

Are you planning to continue working on the game? Maybe more levels and different traps?

I agree for the grey area, it was not a good choice. Only 4 types of packages was enough, or take a better color.

And you’re right about the floaty controls, It’s when you try to walk in the opposite direction of your speed, the friction value is wrong... I’ll try to fix that in the future.

Maybe I’ll continue to develop it, it was not really the plan but I had another ideas like a bomb-package with a timer :D

Yeah, I think 4 packages might actually be enough for your game, but you could also increase the number of packages if you plan to have several levels. So many ideas for updating the game, but rarely any game jam games get updates after the jam is over. I know that from experience with my games 🙈

And yeah, I'm always taking a lot of time to give proper and constructive feedback for every game jam game I play. Unfortunately, that lowers the amount of games I can play and rate, but at least my comments are really helping other developers.

Awesome game ! Everything is great, the gameplay, the graphics, the difficulty ! Just the throwing feels a bit uncomfortable, maybe the spacebar could've been cool ?

I never which key to put for the controls :-/

Except for the WASD, I struggle to choose.

Maybe the space was a better choice to throw. And which key will you choose for the jump ?

I have to say that when I played I didn't use the spacebar to jump, I only relied on dodging xD

So yeah sorry about that, maybe Q or E, or shift if you'd like to keep using the pinky finger, it's closer than the ctrl key !

Still, it's up to you and how you feel ! Maybe add an option menu where you let the players change the controls !

Awesome game! The game already looks and feels great from the beginning, but I also appreciate the good design: It was clear what to do from the beginning (although it took me a bit to realize gray boxes could be delivered at the top). The traps (bullets and falling floor) gave enough anticipation to avoid them, while also increasing difficulty gradually. This was very well thought and executed, I had fun, great job!

For the bullets, it's a bug I left :)

Seeing this, I thought it was nice to put some anticipation on the traps and so I added the tile shaking.
