Interesting game ! I see you were inspired a lot by "Just Shapes and Beats", but it keeps the theme well and it is really cool looking especially in 3 hours. Congrats ! :p

Love the visuals in this game. The post processing you used really made this game pop, and the audio and camera shake added to it as well. Just a really clean, polished game, especially for being done in 3 hours!
The controls felt a little wonky to me. I wasn't really expecting a game that looked like this to have only 4 directions of movement rather than floaty, spaceship like movement. Having the bullets go exactly to the mouse position rather than just in the direction of the mouse took some getting used to as well.
This game definitely has potential for a full game to be built around it, rather than just some boss fights! Awesome job!
Thanks for your feedbacks <3
I'm not used to that kind of shooters, so I wanted to give it a try!
Maybe you're right, I will try with the controller you described to see if it suits the game better.
I wasn't really sure of how I implemented the bullets behaviour too, something was weird and I think you pin down the issue, thanks !
Really cool visuals! Respect! Thanks for sharing how you make them in unity.
Overall a delightful game!
I'm super super impressed if this was done in 3 hours -- especially the details such as the background.
Hi David ! Thanks a lot <3
Those details in the background are really simple to achieve, you can do it in only 5 minutes !
I don't know if you are used to Unity3D, but there is a component called Particle System, I only add it and tweak some values to get this effect.
No code needed for this one !
Then I duplicate this component so that the last boss has more particles than the first one for example.
I can be more specific if you want ;)
Thanks !
At first, I only design the last boss that I split in different parts (Head, Guns, Shield, ...).
Then I disabled each parts but the head create the first boss, enabled some others for the second one so that you learn each pattern at you own rhythms. Thus, at then end of the game, you already know the last boss patterns without even starting the fight (but it is still difficult !)
GG for your time !
I think you have the best performance I know, it took 120 sec for my friend to reach the end of this game , GG !
Really cool game! Especially for a trijam entry in 3 hours. Well done!
