Interesting game. I included it in my Toy Box Jam 3 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

The graphics in this game are great, really good use of the spritesheet, plus it's nice to see Mot's 3Difier getting some love. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing when designing plays, knowing nothing about American football, but it was fun trying to find a way through the opponent's line.

It was easy to not realise which player I was giving orders to, a selection box around the player you're current giving orders to might make things clearer.

The cherry on top was all the rhyming poetry and the funny cut scenes, it added sooooo much personality and style to the game, I was laughing my head off. Cool game!

It's a bit confusing to have the wrong button prompt on advance, but I guess that's easy to get used to. I'm not sure what the gameplay is supposed to be though. I just kept going through each round running forward and eventually the game said I won.

Really appreciate your feedback.  Yeah, I need to work on the collision detection.  It's not quite right.  Can you tell me more about what you mean about the wrong button?  I'm not understanding.  The UI is a bit complicated and I'd like to get it right.

The game shows "next (x)" at the bottom right, despite z being the button that continues text. In pico-8, that would be (o).

Thank you!  Can't believe I got that backward!  Will definitely fix. X is X.  That should be easy to remember.

Wow. If there are references here, I didn't get them. That being said, this was pretty trippy and hilarious. Fun times!

Just wanted to add in that I loved the poetry. The fly-off at the end was also great. Big fan of this experimental work.

Thank you so much!  Yeah, experimental is the right word. The flying exists because I embraced a mistake and made it work.

No specific references to get.  Knowing about Electric Football helps.  I borrowed from The Odyssey, but we all do that.
