Sometimes you want to bake a cake for a date.

The most enjoyable parts certainly was Alice's background story and her thoughts. Don't get me wrong, the portraits, extra backgrounds, and even low-poly 3D(!), as well as the multiple soundtracks are well appreciated. But what really stuck to me was Alice being presented as a girl who lived in loneliness, and then knew the sunshine of mutually and closely knowing someone. And then the nightmare happened which really forged the character further.

The gameplay part however felt quite poor. Reversed camera controls might throw off some players (me included), attacks which... are not effective, and you can just go around fights to collect what Alice needs. Which makes this gameplay part feel rather useless sadly.

Well in the end we still get a stupidly happy ending after Alice, quite interestingly, seems to see the premonition of her nightmare happen again, so it's fine.

I'm quite angry for the inverted controls on the 3D section, I don't think shanghais work properly, mines only aimed randomly and only got me stuck in the game, not a disaster since it's very short.

Enjoyed the rest of the game quite easily, is a good story and makes you get expectations about the  ending.

Title screen might have been a little better, seems very simple.

The art in the VN parts and the aesthetic in the 3D parts are both gorgeous, and the short narrative was a nice way to fit things together.

What a cute and quaint little game! I love the art style, and Shanghai's lil portrait makes my heart melt

Nice and cute game. I am a big fan of the vibrant visuals. But the gameplay is really confusing, there should be something telling what the player needs to collect. Anyway neat game and story.

Simple and cute. I was able to pass the forest stage without having known that I was able to attack...! Am also fully digging the PC-98 representation in the soundtrack.

very cute game! absolutely love the portraits and music. the meat of the gameplay felt very awkward with the inverted camera and i ended up just skirting around the edges since i didnt know the "right" way to use the dolls or fight the enemies. also that ending... oh god dont DO THAT TO ME LMAO

Thanks for the feedback! We wanted to include a tutorial to make it easier to understand, but there was no time. Also glad you enjoyed the ending lol

Oh my god this game had me in stitches.
It is light-hearted and cute and that is all that matters.

I found the combat in the forest a bit too clunky, I literally only managed to kill one enemy before just dying. Also, the inverted camera just made it borderline unplayable, but thankfully not entirely unplayable. Luckily though running away like the bitch I am helped and I could see the ending.

Amazingly the only other game I've seen so far this jam that tried to not only just include a gay romance, but also highlight how it just be sometimes with being a lesbian, just very goofily.... which is not a bad thing.

I love it. Honestly, I do. The low-poly stuff worked amazingly well and the visual novel segments were beautifully illustrated.

I'm so glad you liked our game!!  About the story, I wanted indeed to share some struggles related to the lgbt theme. But I can't keep a full serious tone too much because it's the kind of story I like too lol. So glad you understood!

It really do be like that sometimes, and you can't be 100% serious all the time anyways.

Great art and I really love the low-poly 3D (like for real, I want so many more games with this kind of graphical style), but the inverted camera controls were really hard to use and it felt like there wasn't really much of a point to engaging enemies

Developer(+1)

Thanks, about the art I'm really into this kind of lowpoly 3D atm. I still have to improve a lot of details but I want to make more games in this style for sure!

i didnt like it at first but towards the end it was so silly i cant help not to like it
