Beautiful concept

Kosuzu too precious

(1 edit)

Short and well-written story (20 mn, no branching paths), which cleverly puts Mokou and Akyuu's "immortalities" next to eachother.
The prod value's amazing too for 72 hours. There 6+ Touhou arranges and high quality portrait and backgrounds here.

I fully recommend you don't skip the game just because it's a VN (you know who you are :) )

P.S.: I put 6 stars in Audio. Oops.

Touhou: Protest in Perspective has a very interesting concept for the plot, even if it's a short experience there are everything a good story should have, conflict, twist, climax... and it allows you to make a choice to get different endings, both have very interesting outcomes, as a Touhou plot enjoyer I approve. The lovely character sprites also help a lot so does the music, love the scenario during the main choice as well.

The theme of immortality is well used in this game, thanks for the amazing experience :)

Keine's smile scares me a little though...

One of the endings, befitting its name, sure is bittersweet as hell, but... that second ending sure had some unique sweetness to it, along with the rest of the story overall. This was a really nice experience!! Kinda gay, in a way, too, so that's nice!!! If I had any sorta complaint, it'd be that Akyuu's voice is a bit harsh compared to the rest of the audio, but eh, that wasn't very detracting.

THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS!!

God, i really really love the concept (and execution!) of this. I'd never really thought about how Akyuu and Mokou contrast eachother but now i think i wont be able to stop thinking about it haha
The art and music is great, i love how each of the characters have unique themes for when you talk to them

Also, i dont know if i should talk about spoilers here in the comments, so i'll just say that wow the final line of ending B really got me emotional. wow

This is a very lovely story, and I can't even begin to decide which path is the better of the two. The art is stunning and I love that you provided checkpoints for the decisions as well. Amazing!
