I love how this — besides being a fun magic mechanic — opens up the game's world to so many interesting questions, that I could see whole stories just revolving around the underlying mysteries.

The visual design is appealing at a glance and works well with the theme of the card. The abilities and penalties also feel very right for each of the different utilities. Well done.
