This jam is now over. It ran from 2020-12-21 08:00:00 to 2020-12-24 15:00:00. View 9 entries
The theme is optional, but many of us frustrated with the year that has been, wouldn't it be nice to send it off with a fun game?
The jam takes place from the 21st to the 23rd during normal work hours
The jam will be entirely online using our slack channel: #xmasgamejam2020, discord and itch.io.
Everyone from development are welcome! (Not mandatory!)
You can put together a group by yourself, or be put in a semi-random group during next week. You can also go solo, but we will look at you special
You can use any kind of tool. For example Unity, UE, Pico-8 or Twine. You can even submit a board game or table top rpg!
Nah. No voting or juries, but we will end the jam with some time to try each other's games and celebrate!
Any work you do on company time is owned by the company and under NDA, and same goes for anything you produce during the game jam. For example, that means that if you want continue work on your game jam thing on your own time, you will have to discuss that with Klaus first. But maybe save that indie smash hit idea you've been meaning to get around to for another time (or pitch it to Klaus!)
Also, remember that you are only paid for company hours, and no one in your group should feel forced to work outside of the timeframe given. With that said, if you feel like working on your game jam thing outside company hours because you think it's fun (as it often is), we won't stop you!
