The Wildsea is a fantasy adventure game by Felix Isaacs about sailing wild and unique (usually chainsaw-powered) ships across a treetop sea of a world consumed by foliage. The Wildzine is a fanzine for The Wildsea. Submissions in this jam will be used as entries into the zine, which is published for free.

Theme: New Roots

As the Wildsea wakes up from winter what does the new growth bring? Festivals full of flowers? Ephemeral blooms that only show themselves for a short time before they fall back asleep for another year? Crezzerin or other sap rushing through trunks - causing hazards or a delicious source of seasonal food? Perhaps it's a special time for Ektus everywhere? A new floral foe? Or maybe a unique post for a florist or seed saver?

Guidelines:

1. You can submit any kind material you wish so long as it is applicable to The Wildsea. This can be a Reach, Scenario, Story Hook, Hazard, Bloodline, Origin, Post, Faction, Tale, Tree Shanty, Artwork, etc. 

2. No AI please. Not for writing, not for art, please show us what you can do, not a computer!

3. No explicit themes. This should be suitable for all players.

4. Assets should be free or pay-what-you-want.

5. Please try to stick to the theme as best as possible, but all applicable submissions will be appreciated.

6. The jam is non-ranked, so just have fun!

7. This jam is for submissions to the fanzine The Wildzine, published for free by fans of the Wildsea. 

8. Multiple entries are welcome!
