I am giving this 4 stars because I have only read through the PDF - twice. I will change the rating accordingly once I actually get around to running it.
The game seems like it was put together really well. It has everything from a great setting and lore to complex yet rules lite system. There are lots of character options and it's easy to understand. Might not be pick up and play, but it's close. This game takes place in a world not unlike Earth, but does differ - magic flows everywhere, and it has some sci-fi elements.
I discovered this game because I was looking for a system to play a game similar to "The Magicians" which is one of my favourite shows, someone on Reddit had suggested it to me. This game has most things that I want. There are a few things that I would like to see, which I will probably just homebrew, myself.
For a small development team? Yeah, this game is incredible. I'll be recommending this game to everyone and honestly it's on par with games that have bigger and more known teams.
