A Game Jam for all TPSers to help develop their game dev skills.

Shoutout to Jarius for providing prize options for this jam.

Unless you are teaming up with a student of TPS or you are a student of TPS do NOT join this jam. If you do, you will be removed from the jam.

Theme: Opposite

The theme is opposite. Take this in the right direction or the left its up to you. You can do anything that has something to do with opposite. Up and down, left and right, on and off, litteraly anything.  Maybe opposite of whats normal. Or it supports the story plot. Be Creative and Have Fun!!

The Theme of the game jam will be announced here once the jam begins.  Create a game based off the theme for the game jam. 

Since it is Easter season consider adding Easter elements to you game. (This is not required but following the Theme is required).

Rules:

• You must create a game in the given time but  you may reuse old code and assets. 
• If  any of the assets(music, art, sound effects) were not created by you. Please say so or give credit to the source in your jam submission.
• You many have a team of up to 3 people. The Team may consist of 1 non Tpser as this jam is geared towards TPS students. Also Note that the prize will not be doubled or tripled for extra teammates.
• Please spend some time voting  on others games fairly, after the jam ends. This includes watching any videos, sent to you to vote on. (for people who could not submit their game to the jam for various reasons).
• Do not give people bad ratings on purpose so you will win. 
• You may use any game engine to make your game.

Rating Categories: 

Once the jam ends you will be able to rate others games. Each rating is out of 5 stars. Here are the categories you will rate people on:

• Overall
• Visuals
• Audio
• Theme (How well the game follows the theme of the jam.)
• Creativity
• Fun (How much you had fun playing the game.)

Prize:

1st Place winners will be given  the choice to get a:

• 5$ Xbox gift card
• 5$ Amazon gift card 
• Or 5$ Microsoft  gift card

(Remember the real winners will be announced on the TPS forums and not on itch.io)

Take Note:

Results of the game jam will not be avalible here on itch because some participants may be submitting their games differently.  Because of this I will be posting a post on the TPS forums containing the results and rankings for everyones game.

I will be taking part in this game jam, Feel free to vote on my game but since I know the theme of the jam beforehand, I will not include be in the rankings. (Unless less than 3 other games are submitted)
