I'll preface this by saying I did not play for long. If anything in this comment feels invalid because of it, please disregard that. My reason for not playing for long is because everytime I moved the ship, my frames would drop to 10fps. I don't know what kind of heavy code is in the background of this space shooter, but the fact that I can't run a 2D space shooter on a laptop from 2016 is a bit concerning...

Now onto my main critique. The art style feels very unfinished. There's a lack of consistency between enemies, player, and background. There are no animations, the logo for the game feels like straight out of Microsoft WordArt, and there's a lack of main menu UI. Maybe you were dealt a bad hand with a lack of artists, I don't know, but this feels very unpolished.

The part of the game I could play felt a bit janky as well. My bullets felt like they had little to no impact with the enemy, and I very quickly had my health reduced to 10% with a faceful of 4-5 enemies that would not die.

Love the theme, the sprites are great and movement feels good. I like the fact that there are multiple levels and boss fights, however on the first level I found that since all the enemies move towards you on the Y axis you can just stay in one place and keep shooting to kill them all. I also had a problem with shooting since I was playing on a trackpad and having to click was a bit awkward, but this wasn't a huge problem. Overall a really solid game, congrats to the whole team!

A good submission, some good designed enemies in this, both in an art sense and a behaviour. The game played out pretty smoothly and difficulty increased at a steady pace. Audio as others had mentioned would have definitely added to this. I think animations would also have.

Liked the overall under water theme of this game. The inclusion of multiple levels each with their own boss fight fun and made the game more enjoyable, would have loved some sort of audio and would be a nice addtion. I had a little problem with FPS, though judging from other reviews that seems to be only an issue for me, couldn't finish the third level as it was more like a powerpoint at that stage. Also the bosses not launching any attacks didn't really make them a challenge and they were easy to defeat because of it. Other than that great game, good job!

Much appreciated!
Addressing some issues though; level 3 is the only one with no boss fight so in order to make the game enjoyable we had to include multiple enemies because "chaos" is one of the key aspects of the game, so the actual fps problem stays for the while because of unity not handling the amount of enemies but it was a compromise to make the level not empty. A better execution would've been finding a middle ground.
The second and the final boss (after level 3) fire ranged attacks (third having it much more accurate and more frequent).

Cool game! I liked the fact that when the enemies attacked they stuck on you which was funny and a nice change. The visuals look really nice and the game play is pretty smooth. Some sort of audio would make for a good improvement. Great submission you should all be really proud. :)

A good submission, I liked how you had the theme of it being underwater which worked really well, and by having more than one enemy and way to shoot made this work really well, the artwork was well designed and I especially liked the look of the enemies as this stood out to me the most overall, I liked your loading screen but got abit confused by nothing in the credits, and would of liked to of heard some background audio or sound effects as this would make the game stand out even more, overall it is clear that a lot of effort was put into this so well done all!
