Cute lil game!

I enjoy the vaguely simulator aspect of it - I could see potential in a game that leans even harder on that.

not too much to say besides this game looks great and is super fun to play with! diana is a great looking deer and is super fun to pose.

i really love how this game demonstrates that adding more clothes can make a photo sexier. it's so fast to go through each photoshoot and i think the game interface encourages trying out different outfits, meaning that it's easy to try a lot of different things. and as a result, i found some poses and clothes combinations that felt pretty sexy without knowing they would turn out to be that way.

I know you mentioned having to cut content due to the short time frame but you honestly managed to get quite a lot in regardless. It's not the most innovative idea but the game is really well designed and was fun to try and figure out the way to maximize how much money you got. Great job!

Lovely game! Good work on working with 3d models in such a short time. I think if I have to add anything on, I feel like showing how much you made per round would help, I had no idea what actually effected the amount of money you earned. Aside from that, it was a very cute game to play. I hope you keep working on this project or at least give a post jam update with more poses and clothes. But still lovely time!

I would like to lodge a complaint (not really I'm only joking, let's get that out early) that a set of straight ahead shots with only the pose changed earned over $110 while the precious, emotive arthouse sets I worked so hard on would barely crack $40. Clearly OnlyFawns is a wasteland when it comes to artistic taste. But in all seriousness, this was so fun! I feel like I probably don't need to say Diana is adorable, but she is, and it's really impressive how much personality you get across with such a simple model and some wandering eyes.

I was a little bummed there wasn't more to unlock, but after four or five shoots I realized there were tabs for clothes that I had somehow missed the whole time and then got probably too excited and had to get everything. The experience is simple but really clean and well done and I would love to play a whole game with it as the base. Even just as it is I loved finding fun little angles and waiting for her eyes and her idle animation to be just so for the perfect shot. I think it'd be fun to get comments back after doing a shoot, but I can't imagine how complicated that would be to set up. For now I'll just keep dreaming of helping Diana set up her social media empire.

Thanks for the kind words! It does seem the rating is the main comment people have, I randomized the numbers a little too much ^^' definitely agree with the general sentiment on that.

Glad you enjoyed it despite the shortcomings and lack of content, that tells me it's a solid enough concept! I'm in love with character customization so definitely planning on implementing it to future projects, and I do love deer so does might be a recurring theme, hehehe.

A solid base for a nice dressup game.  A little lacking in content, but that's expected for a jam game.  Doe is so cute!  If there were more types of clothes and locations, maybe props or other things to do besides taking photos, I could see this ballooning into a really fun game.

(I had some graphical glitches that looked similar to Z-fighting on the web version (I've had that with other web godot games as well) on Firefox on Linux with an Intel graphics card.  The native version worked fine doe).

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for the kind words! This really is the kind of game that would benefit from getting packed with content yeah, since the mechanics are so simple. I definitely want to revisit the concept once I have a better grasp on Godot to make something even better.

Seems the web version is causing quite a lot of issues for people ^^' sometimes it's hard to tell what's a result of my own buggy development or Godot 4's shenanigans, hopefully both things will improve with time. I'm definitely happy to hear the Linux version worked fine though, I was worried it might have unexpected compatibility issues, thanks for letting me know!

Ok. I'm officially in love with this game.

I love the idea of being an OnlyFawns girl and taking lewd nudes for profit. Haha. The idea is just too good. It's a simple game, has some neat progression to it with all the different clothing articles and new poses that unlock along the way. Simple, yet charming.

Shamefully the game bugged out after a photo shoot and got stuck in the profit page view at one point. Oh well! Gives me a reason to start from the scratch with an even cuter deer!

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it, despite that bug ^^' I never encountered it but I'll do some testing after work to try and diagnose it.

I was very into the idea from the moment I heard of this jam, I'm glad I was able to make it a reality even if to a lesser degree than I wanted. I'll definitely be exploring similar ideas in future projects!

I had a lot of fun with this it was cute take on a posing and picture simulator. I couldn't tell if the payments you got were random or based on how well you took a photo of the pose. I was having too much fun playing around with the poses and outfits to try spamming the photo button. I feel like having one day where you got $24 was really frustrating when trying to unlock a pose. Also I think it would be nice if there was a button for opening and closing the pose menu or cycling through your unlocked poses

I did have one bug worth mentioning while rotating the camera around it suddenly flipped on me and made it look like Diana is stuck on the ceiling and in this pose possessed. I think it had something to do with it some how trying to open up the right click menu on the web build.

The clothing and doe were adorable and the music was a great choice. Honestly great job.  Would love to see more of this.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I wanted to implement a system for scoring based on how good the angle was on each pose, I kinda dropped the ball on what I did implement for scoring by making it a bit too random.

I had not encountered that camera flipping bug, definitely worth looking into if I find the time during this judging period. And that pose cycling and opening the menu with a button does sound a lot more convenient, thanks for the suggestion! I'll keep it in mind for making future projects more user friendly.

I’m a bit biased because deers are some of my favourite furries, but I did enjoy posing this creature, whose name is Diana I gather, for my own personal pleasure. I think the itch.io thumbnail undersells the concept, as she does deserve to have her flustered face front-and-center. She is a cute doe, after all.

As for the game, I understand it’s a tech demo, and earning money is as simple as hitting the spacebar a lot to get a random amount of cash. There wasn’t an ending even after unlocking all the outfits, and I’m additionally biased towards the sexy goth outfits, so unlocking all of them wasn’t something I would have done without expectation of an ending. On that basis, the game is purely a webtoy to play with for a bit until you’ve taken all the pictures your heart desires, which isn’t a bad thing on that basis.

It’s aesthetically pleasing for what it is, and I did enjoy my short time staring at her fluffy tail. And butt.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I also love deer a lot, maybe a bit obvious from my profile picture, haha.

It's very much more of a webtoy indeed, the scope had to be reduced with every passing day during february sadly, but fortunately I learned some new things for next time, and for projects outside the jam as well. Definitely expect deer here and there in whatever future endeavors I take on ^^ I'll do my best to improve my skills and go for something a bit more ambitious next year, cheers!

Cute poses and model, the game could make big use of more poses tho'. Overall the game is pretty relaxing and nice.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Yeah, I definitely would've loved to add more content, hopefully next year's entry will be bigger since I'll hopefully be able to work faster ^^

Submitted(+1)

I like the idea. The gameplay is quite relaxing and even meditative. Music helps this a lot. :)

The only thing is, I don’t understand what exactly determines the number of likes and money. ^^'
Also, it would have been nice to see some more interesting shading (a little bit) instead of just "flat" colors but that's just a small thing.

Otherwise the 3d model is good and the poses are hot. :3
Good work! ^^

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback!

The rating was based on how the clothes are matched plus some randomness, but I added a bit too much randomness and now it's just practically random ^^' whoops!

Shading would indeed be better if not entirely flat, I'll definitely tinker with Godot's web renderer to see what I can do in future projects.

In any case, thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it well enough!

Developer

DEVELOPER'S NOTE: Although not mentioned in the how to play screen, the camera can now also be rotated with right click, both that and middle mouse button should work.

Submitted(+1)

I'm not sure what makes good photos in the game's eyes, but I do like the idea of the game, and I think the graphics are super cute. Love this deer girl!

Developer

I tried to base it off clothes matching, theres some cross-matching but I think I added too much randomness into it, so it ended up feeling totally random ^^'

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked the looks well enough, I'll definitely be experimenting with picture taking mechanics and shadeless styles in the future.

FYI: The Windows build actually worked a lot better for me than the web build. In the web build, the pose menu wouldn't open and the Continue-button on the "Onlyfawns" page didn't work either.  I didn't have any of those problems with the Windows build. I am using Firefox on Windows 10.

Developer

Thanks for letting me know! I'll look into the project and see if I spot what might be causing issues for the web build.

The concept was really cool. I enjoyed trying to get a good timing and look for my photos. The ambiance and the environment were quite pleasant. And being able to slowly accumulate more poses and clothing was really neat. If there is potentially more to this game, I am eager to see it. ~

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I likely won't continue this specific project too much beyond improving some systems, but the concept of dressing up and doing photoshoots is something I want to implement to other larger projects in the future ^^

Submitted(+1)

i love the art style, and this is such a cute little project! good job getting the picture system to work, it took me like 3 days to get mine working because i couldn't figure out what was breaking haha

i love the poses!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I definitely have to give your game a look, the picture taking concept is a lot of fun ^^

Submitted(+1)

Lovely environments with a photogenically pretty main character. The idle animations and eye movements really bring her to life and give players a bit more options for timing the perfect shot.

Everything about the audio felt right with a well picked main theme and subtle interface clicks and pops.

Unlockable poses and clothes help keep players invested, and it was fun to see how different combinations are rated. I feel like the nude option should also be an unlockable rather than a starting choice, it always feels rewarding to work your way up to riskier clothing choices.

The interface is light and fully functional and most importantly the camera setup felt good to use. Very nice work in bringing everything together!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks! In hindsight the nude option should have definitely been a high tier unlockable, and if time had allowed I would've loved to make a bunch of incresingly tiny and risky outfits for her to wear, haha.

I'm glad you found it nice to play through, it was a good learning experience and the feedback helps with improving my design and development skills for next year. Thanks for playing!

Submitted(+1)

The model was sooo pretty. I love the outfits and all the poses.

Developer

Thank you! I was hoping the doe would really shine since it took a while to make her ^^

Submitted(+1)

Very fun! I kinda wish the camera wasn't as constrained so you could have super low angles. The poses and the art were also really well done. I think it also might've been nice to be able to take more than four pics per session and then chose just four to post since i was kinda stuck with a bad photo if i didn't mean to take it. Overall, super solid!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback! I tried to implement a cooler camera but my limited knowledge kept it quite simple, I'll be sure to improve on my camera systems for future projects.

I didn't think of taking more and selecting the best shots at all, seems obvious now that you mention it so I'll take the blame for that lack of functionality, hahaha. I'm glad you had a nice time regardless!

Submitted(+1)

she is so pretty omg

Developer(+1)

Thank you! My stronger suit in this project was definitely character modeling, so I'm happy to hear you liked how she looks ^^
