The Starcrush Holiday Jam is a three week long game jam starting on December 16th with a theme reveal. This jam is open to everyone of all skills levels whether they're new to game development or have been working in a AAA studio for the past decade.

The theme for this year's jam is Transition. This can be represented in many great ways such as the transition from year to year, from season to season, a character transitioning to a new chapter of their life, gameplay built around musical transitions, a character that transitions into someone or something new, transitioning to living in a new place, a new way of living, a new identity, or anything you can think of! Good luck and remember to have fun!

Criteria:

Theme - How well did the game make use of the theme?
Fun - Is the game enjoyable to play?
Originality - How original is the concept? Does it use unique game mechanics or subvert them in an interesting way?
Completeness - How complete is the game? Does it look "done"? Is it missing any major features you would expect?
Accessibility - How accessible is this game? (Does it contain any of the following? Text size can be changed or is 28px height by default, customizable colors or colorblind mode, adjustable camera sensitivity, game does not rely on being able to hear, game does not rely on telling colors apart, configurable controls, etc.) Check here if you need help.

• No content that is NSFW, offensive, contains excessive gore, etc. These submissions will be deleted.
