The game was very interesting for a platformer, having to rush but be mindful of falling and time. The graphics were very minimalist, but still effective enough. I wish there was some form of audio for engagement, either tense music or sound effects for jumping and cracking. But it was a fun little short experience. Good job!

Correct for a first jam !
The correlation between having to be cautious with the egg but still having to speed up is a good idea that you could iterate on. Also it was well justified by associating it to hatching.
The physics and the level design could still be improved to correspond more to this idea.
For the graphs, the chicken has a very strange charm X).
Lacks audio but, as you were alone and it was your first jam, it is totally understandable.
So pretty promising for your upcoming games.
I enjoyed the game. It was challenging and fun. The wall-hanging is a great concept but it sometimes feel a little awkward when trying to jump onto a platform but it hang onto a wall instead. Great game overall!
Very nice game, its simple but feels very well-made and just the right level of challenge. And I really like the wall-hang thing, it adds a new twist and interesting challenge to the genre :)
Addictive little platformer! The controls were on point and the level design was top notch! Discovering the cracking egg mechanic as I fell the first time really adds a layer of complexity and makes the game unique and made me study the level design carefully before every jump.
Great work!
I really love the movement it feels great, this game is just awesome and the fact that it is your first jam is just so impressive, i felt sad ending the game so soon but that s okay i can imagine you didn t manage the time well since your new to this but overall very solid entry. Great work!
btw the wall hanging thing is not a bug it s friction you can disable it by creating a new physicmaterial2D and setting the friction to 0 then assigning it to the rigidbody2D there is a spot for it there.
I love the concept and you absolutely did it justice! The art is super charming and the controls are insanely smooth--like, it's actually very impressive how nice the controls feel. It's awesome that this is your first jam too! My first jam was barely playable, haha. I noticed that you could hang onto walls by walking into them, and I'm not positive this is intentional? But other than that, very nice game and I would love to see an expanded version someday.
Nice game !
Feels a bit unfinished but you managed to submit a working game & that's pretty cool fo a first jam. Congrats !
Tiny pointer : the white outerline on the egg seem a bit out of place compared to the rest, since everything else has black outerline.
Also couldn't get past the second jump on level 2 without breaking the egg even though I was jumping on the higher platform available. (maybe I missed someting here ?)
Apart from that, nice job ! :)
