I though the game was really good. I won't echo what other people have already mentioned. I liked the audio (especially the lightning strikes) and the dialogue was nice. The UI was a bit unintuitive as I didn't realize I was meant to be doing missions and I didn't know how to drink potions. On that note, I collected 10 keys, and then drank a potion. This soft locked the game as my mission was to collect 10 keys which I had already done so I couldn't do it again and I got stuck. Anyway, I liked the animations and the art was good (actually probably better without the CRT effect). Good job! If I had one easy suggestion, make some of the enemies shoot at you, that would improve the game massively!

Developer

Thanks! Ranged enemies would be nice. Also you are right about "On that note, I collected 10 keys, and then drank a potion. This soft locked the game as my mission was to collect 10 keys which I had already done so I couldn't do it again and I got stuck.". I should have fixed that.

Nice game; I think the other comments sum up my thoughts as well as far as hit feedback, randomizing spawn points, etc.
I like the mission system in the corner and the ambiance feels nice. I like the varying types of enemies. I kind of wished they all had different attack patterns/speeds but with the limited timeframe, I think this came out really well. Nice work.

Developer

Thanks!

Retro Hack & Slash... Nice! Art is good. Mobs and npc designs are good. It lacks a little bit feeling of impact while attacking but for a 48 hours jam it's really well done.

Developer

Thanks! I think that and enemy spawnpoints are the most important things that i passed.

Nice retro style and the combat mechanic is pretty though. Still lacks some feedback within some object and combat but it is overall a very good submission. Well done!

Developer

Thanks!

nice touch with the crt effect, cool art and atmosphere, the game is really easy and the last part was a little boring cuz the enemies spawn from the same place, but really good

Developer

Thanks! I don't know how i forget to randomize spawnpoints lol

cool retro art style! Gameplay is cool, but it is a bit easy. Didn't even really need to use any of the potions to help. But overall a really good game!

I'd appreciate it if you could rate my game as well! :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks. I made it simple so everyone can finish the game easily. Also i rated your game. It's nice :-]

thanks! :)

Wow I love the lighting and sounds, they really make a great mood! The combat could use some more feedback like hit-flashes and screenshake, but for only 48 hours this is really good!

Developer

Thanks!

Very charming, loved the effects and style! Only thing is I would have had the monsters go after the villagers while your protect them. Great work :).

Developer

Thanks :)

Great game! the lightning is awesome my only complain is the potions , when you use the heal the other effects stop working.

Developer

Thanks :-) But if you use another potion. Other potions effect will still effect you. But you won't see color.

Really nice! I like the visuals, and I like how there's so many different enemy types. I also like the thunderstorm visuals and audio. I did get stuck because the boss didn't drop any keys, but I used cheats to finish. Good job! :)

Developer

Thanks :). Why boss didn't dropped key is because you have to kill all enemies to get the key. So people can't pass all enemies, fight boss and get the key.

Man the game is good and the sound is just amazing

Thanks :)

Ambitious to make a dungeon crawler in 48h! Well done!

I think some feedback when you hit enemies would be nice. A sound, maybe some pushback on the enemy and a few particles spraying out.

Developer(+1)

Thanks. I think hitting effect was the  most important feature but i delayed it.I don't know why lol

it's kinda boring when you do the last mission, But it's okayy i like ittt

Developer(+1)

Thanks. I think about 8 villagers would be better.

Cool game :) Game play is smooth and the graphics are really nice. The thunder and rain help set the mood perfectly. The only complaint I have is the scanlines, I don't think they are needed for this artstyle and they were too opaque. That being said, I really want to stress that the graphics as a while are great anyway.

Had fun while playing it!

Developer

Thanks. You can disable scan lines by disabling CRT effect at settings menu.

Nice!

Nice work! The CRT and rain effects are really cool. I got through all the combat by backing up slowly and holding down LMB- maybe add some knockback to make it more interesting?

Developer

Thanks. Knockback would be cool. Also i think there should be a hitting effect too.

Nice Game, but if you dont defeat all enemys, the boss doesnt drop the key. (I had to use cheats, because im really bad at this type of games haha)

Developer

Thanks for your comment . And yes i made like that because i wanted to avoid people from passing all enemies and killing boss.

Nice game! Very well developed! One thing you would need to fix though is the credits text. I couldnt see it at all!

Developer

Thanks. I think i should fix that too.
