I liked the concept! It would have been funny to see the costumes on the sprite itself. I liked the variety of costumes there were. Nice work!

Cool game, I like how the player moves and the animations. My daughter  really like the idea to put on the clothes ono the man, she was trying all the combination of clothes.

Good Job.

Developer

Haha glad your daughter liked it!

Great thematic idea for hiding the truth :D In my game I have a similar mechanic where dressing up makes you look either cute or scary and matching clothes will make your costume accurate

Also I was a bit worried about .exe file but when I saw many comments I thought it was safe to run. Regular players might feel intimidated.

Developer

yeah, as a non-code-focused person I've always been confused by this. Arent all games .exe's? What other options are there, aside from running the game in browser?

If you are using Unity for example, Unity Windows releases have a certain structure of folders and files. "Looks and feels like a game" sort of speaking, like this one.  (sorry if the image looks extremely large :D looks ok in my desktop)

Developer

ah I see. I've always used an engine called clickteam fusion, which has always had strange issues with virus detection software that sort of thing. I intend to switch to something a little more ubiquitous soon. Thanks for the info!

Developer

thank you!

Tight Controls, funny art, good gameplay, and a good mechanic that forces the players to choose their buffs and weaknesses. Fantastic job!

really nice binding-of-isaac style game. felt good to play, juggling inventory dependent on enemy types was cool!

Developer

Thanks so much!

I tried to play this, but their was only an .exe file in the folder. Which when I tried to launch the game it was missing files.

Developer

Hmm, thank you for letting me know. I've uploaded the .exe alone, so hopefully that works? I haven't seen anyone else with this issue

I tried redownloading from itch twice, and unzipped the files, and the game attempts to launch but it says it tries to access files that it cannot reach. It looks like a fun game and I would definitely like to try it out! What software did you use to make the game?

Developer(+1)

I used clickteam fusion 2.5, which has admittedly has issues in the past. Strange that it's not an issue everyone seems to be having, though. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

No problem, I tried turning off all spam/virus protections and it still wouldn't work. Nice work from what I have seen though!

Great game! I love the premise of changing your costume to change your stats. Just missing some variety in the effects of items, but overall I like it a lot!

Developer

thanks! Item variety is definitely something time made very difficult
