I couldn't understand what to do exactly..
This is a nice interpretation of the theme. I think the game could use a small tutorial for players who don't know what a bitmask is.
Great idea, didn't got well with the theme in my opinion though. also I didn't understand the numbers I pressed 4 and something else shot not row 4. maybe I just don't understand. Edit: I now realise what the numbering is (I think) I have changed you rating now knowing it does fit with the them, good idea)
working out bitmasks on the fly was surprisingly fun, and this was certainly an original direction to take the theme. Nice job.
