A nice game. I like how you experience with your mechanic. Well done!
Some fun little challenges in some of the stages, and there's some potential in the idea of sacrificing progress for speed, especially since while some of the stages are easier, others are kinda harder when you're going fast!
I really like the idea!! And I enjoyed seeing how each level was different (the first big change, with the giant blue arrow was fun to see!) I also think how you interpreted the theme of sacrifice was clever : ) I would say changing some of the colors to a more pleasing palette would be nice, especially since such a saturated red can be a bit harsh on the eye. But otherwise very cool and I enjoyed it.
I really liked the concept of the game, I think it's a pretty cool idea. That being said, the graphics aren't the best. Don't get me wrong, a game like this could work with very simplistic graphics, but if you're going to go with just colored shapes in your game, try to make the colors complement each other well (color theory). The hitbox for the "player" that follows the mouse is also very off, and the box itself probably isn't really needed as you can see your mouse cursor anyways. I see you submitted over 4 days before the deadline, that's some time you could have spent making the game feel and look better. Other than that, cool concept :)
