Lovely funk. At first I was like, amazing jazz but not so spooky, but I was wrong! The musical saw/theremin (?) actually felt like a ghost scatting jazz, and the xylophone runs were smooth and spooky. The laugh really tied the jazz to a haunted feeling at the right moment. Love how you developed spooky out of a piece I’d be glad to hear any time.

Spooky jazz! I loved the panning effects in both the xylophone adn the ghostly sound. The saxophone sounded right at home when it came in. You gave it so character that I initially had a difficult time figuring out if it was a recording or a VST. I also like that with each new added layer, the other layers seemed to get out of the way allowing for the new instrument to take the spotlight. I wonder if having a slight fade-in when the xylophone part enters would help the transition possibly feel less abrupt and smooth it out a little. Your bass runs set a blistering pace for sure and I think that is a very nice constant that glues it all together. Overall great job and thank you for sharing!

No comments? Sad, because this song is dope! It already starts out as a nice swingy song and it keeps that throughout. Now, I had some trouble keeping up with the pace sometimes, like the piece from 0:06 (but the almost identical piece at 0:12 fixed the start, but went crazy around 0:16 again!). It almost feels like they are skipping beats - perhaps just a too complicated rhythm for me!
Also, the number of instruments can overwhelm a bit, because they are all trying to be dominant by blasting equally loud and crazy melodies in your ear. The piece at 0:58 is a BANGER THOUGH! A clear dominant melody, nice background-sounds,  just perfect! And I LOVE the whatchamacallit (theremin?) at 0:32 - it is just loud enough such that it really feels as if a cute ghost is trying to scare me up close xD.

Overall, I love this song! There are some slight adjustments I would recommend, but the thing you got going here is awesome. Great job!

Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. The time signature is one measure of 15/16 and then one measure of 4/4 (you could combine the two and call it 31/16 too I guess)

I KNEW IT! I knew there was a beat missing! I listened to it for a while (5x now) and every time I notice it. I have seen cases where weird time-signatures give eerie or even funny effects, but I would have preferred for this song to just be in 4/4 ;). Nice try though, I love it when people try weird things - it reminds me of myself!
