cool text based adventure, was funny to anger the squirrel. Would have been nice if it was longer with a complete story but fun concept, nice stuff.

About?
This was my first attempt to build a game using my XML-driven text-based adventure engine. I had an ambitious idea at the start of the jam for an adventure game with lots of animal NPCs to interact with in different ways, and the goal of managing your hunger while hiking through a small woodsy town to fix a downed cable tower. The end result is a much simpler little adventure, but I had fun writing little environmental descriptions. I am excited for the coming autumn weather here in the northeast US, so I channelled part of that energy into the environment. I'm sorry I didn't have time for a bigger, more exciting game, but I hope this offers a nice relaxing break for a few minutes!
