This had a nice little narrative, good job! I'd like to come back to this again later, and figure out what/if anything changes if I do things in a different order; I might've lucked out on the right order by chance. But yeah, this was well-written and I love that it had kind of the same feel as those old browser escape room games, but in a text adventure.

Developer

Thank you! The order's actually pretty much irrelevant, but a few small details do change depending on what you do first. I'm really glad it got that atmosphere across. :D

I don't normally play games like this, but I like how it turned out. The story itself was engaging, and I tried to read through everything, but I'm sure there's a lot that I missed.

I thought it was really cute story, though I was confused at the beginning clicking around at the whole screen so maybe something to really get you to know what to click. :)

Developer

Having the links coloured only when hovering was an active choice - we were hoping it'd get across some of that 'searching for something to do' feeling - but I do see why it'd be a bit confusing, so maybe not the best choice. Thanks for the feedback!

I like myself a little interactive story, and this one is pretty well written. I really remarked the change in tone and writing style during the first "dream" and I found it odd at first, but then I realised it fits quite nicely with the convoluted or even chaotic way we remember dreams.

Bug report: This happened when I began the story again and went to the kitchen, to an option I hadn't explored first time round

Super well-written story; I'm curious to try it again and see how the sequences change depending on my choices!

Developer

Thank you! :D Only details will change, but I tried to give it a cohesive feel regardless of what order you do things in.

I enjoyed this a lot, well written (and creepy)! It was really fun exploring the narrative.

This was really well written and I enjoyed exploring it. Good job!

I really like this. An interesting narrative that you feel like you're exploring just through the text prompts. Some atmospheric background music could be added to enhance the immersion!

Developer

Definitely agree - if there'd been time (and music people) to spare background music would've been the top priority to add in next. I'm glad you liked it!

Nice little story. I like the mechanic of clicking on the words themselves to progress as opposed to t a list of buttons. Would be nice if the selectable text was slighlty more different to the rest of it to helpf find it but then again it was kind of fun trying to find the clickable text. Cool work though :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Making the links coloured only on hover was a deliberate design choice (trying to get that 'searching for things to do' feeling across), but in retrospect maybe not the best idea. Will definitely think twice before doing the same thing again .
