Sheesh! I only just played this, but this is really fun to play, good job! Totally captures that nintendo 3d world aesthatic with the platformer mechanics and the cute art style, totally deserved 3rd place!

Thanks, Julie! Your vod was fun to watch, thanks for playing my game and trying your hardest even though there was no tutorial or any kind of guidance given.
You did great :)
Super cool game that you made in those 2 days :D I love the style and the character animation and design, it controlled very nice as well.
I'm just not the biggest fan of inverted camera movement, I wish it could be changed in settings or something.
Plus sometimes the way the light hit the platform from the side would blend with the top so it was hard to judge how far I need to jump.
But I could definitely see me playing this if it was a longer game, hopefully with some kind of save mechanic as well as it was a bit heartbreaking getting far and then falling and starting from the beginning.
Hey, thanks for playing the game and thanks for your feedback!
The version of this game that you played does have a pause menu with the invert settings for mouse users, it can be opened with tab, there is just no prompt telling you so, because I ran out of time before I could add those things.
The other problems you mentioned have already been addressed in the more current version of the game. It has more content as well!

Played on Steam Deck - Compatibility Mode Proton 7.0-6 - works like a charm though the resolution is a bit off so you can slightly see text-box assets on the top and bottom that are supposed to be hidden.
Edit: Using steams launch options to force 1280x720 as resolution fixed it and now it looks as beautiful as intended
It's such a fun Jump & Run and full of potential to be expanded. Really brings me back to the good old N64 days. Would play more of it anytime!
woah cool! yet another way of playing I did not expect to see
thanks so much, grim, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Very cute, very smooth, and very polished! Only got screwed from depth perception a few times 🤣 I like the first-class controller support, and the music was bumpin too 😎I hope this turns into a full game!
Thanks so much! I'm glad you came back now that the game is functioning, I appreciate the feedback :]
I had the same issue while testing my game, that depth perception on the top edges can be surprisingly tough with the lack of texture variation and geometry in the environment.
I will be continuing work on this for roughly another week, so I'll see what I can get done! Thanks for your encouragement :D I think I'll add some bushes, trees, rocks, and textures to the ground, maybe different textures for the sides of the ground, that should hopefully help with detecting those top edges a bit better!
I loved this game! The animations, sound, and music were all great. Some of the balloon jumps were nice and challenging., so I felt accomplished when I collected all the coins. A couple minor things: the dialog box was mostly cut off when I played on an ultrawide monitor, and it would be really nice if the music looped. Overall a really great experience.
I didnt expect anyone to play on an ultrawide monitor! thats a good idea to safegaurd for though, should script something that handles that to my toolset. Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback, Steve!
Super impressive platformer made within the jam's duration. I would make two adjustments...
Inverted up/down option for the mouse
The camera goes through the terrain, instead have a collision against the terrain so it goes closer to the player.
Great work!
Good feedback! Thankfully, I've already made those two adjustments for the next version of the game! :D
Thanks so much for playing the game, and for your kind words as well, I appreciate it a lot gamer!
The sound really is great, loved that. Some of the jumping can be challenging, gets easier quickly as you learn. Fun jam submission
This plays really well. Excellent sound effects, fun jumping and diving.
Fixed! No longer crashes on start (was due to an editor error, had to reinstall)
Please consider playing and rating my game! Leave a comment if you do <3
It crashes on start for me 😔
oh crap, I think I know what happened. I'm still in bed though, I will fix it when I get up in the morning. Sorry about that--I will post an update message here and on my itch page when its fixed!
Fixed it! The problem was not what I thought it was, so it took a while, but I managed to get a playable build up that I think is decent! Please consider replaying and re-judging the game, would appreciate it a lot
