Really fun twist on the classic Asteroid game. However the framerate completely tanked when there was a lot of objects on the screen :D
The game looks great! Definitely a revamped version of the og. But I love og asteroids, I even own one of the table top machines of it. This definitely gave me the right vibes, although just sped up and a bit crazy. I had some issues with the game freezing whenever I shot an asteroid open and it spawned in all the power ups, and it made it a little hard to play. Other than that you made a nice polished game.
This game is well polished, and it's a fun spin on a well known game by adding in the power ups. I wish it had a restart button, since I had to close and reopen the game to try again, but that was my only problem with it, and it didn't impact the gameplay. Good job!
