Thank you for coming to the SNHU Alumni GameJam!
This GameJam is for the Alumni of Southern New Hampshire University's Game Design and Development program. This will hopefully lead to more GameJams in the future.
Theme:
The theme is "Monstrous Friends".
The Rules
- Every game must follow a theme that will be announced at noon on Friday August 8th. The theme will be a short sentence to use as inspiration.
- Teams can be any size. At least one person in your team must be an SNHU Alumni, any additional Non-SNHU Alumni are allowed.
- Game submissions must be through this webpage. Saturday August 15th at 8pm is the closing time for submissions.
- Games must be playable through web browser or on Windows. Tabletop games are allowed.
- You are allowed to use code/art/audio that was created by your team prior to the GameJam or you are licensed to use, but you are required to make it known which assets your team created during the GameJam.
- Voting can be done at anytime during the GameJam until Sunday August 16th at 6pm. Every participant is allowed to Judge on other people's games. The winner will be announced on this site and the Facebook page.
- Games submitted to the Jam must not contain nudity, or hateful language or visuals.
- Have fun!
Recommendations

- Don't stress about not having enough time, the purpose of this GameJam is to create and have fun!
- Do not overexert yourself. The reason this GameJam is one week long is so people can finish their game in their own time.
- Adhere to a normal sleep schedule.
- If you have multiple team members think about using aDiscord serverto help communicate with each other.
- Be mindful of feature creep.
- Make sure that your game mechanics and controls written clearly.
- Make sure to put your and your teams' names somewhere in the game.
Notes
- A questionnaire may be sent after the GameJam for people to give feedback on how to make the GameJam better.

- Anything you make during the SNHU Alumni Game Jam is your property. SNHU Alumni Game Jam claims no rights or ownership of your game.
- Any game submitted to the SNHU Alumni Game Jam may show up in a YouTube video or Twitch Stream without your express permission.
