What a gorgeous game! A very surreal and beautiful setting that reminded me fondly of the types of adventures stories I read when I was younger. The way the story cards stacked on top of each other as you progress was genius! Well done!
Thank you! The stacked cards was the design element that made the game crystallize in my mind, actually. Did you notice the names for each level that appear when you hover over the cards?
And also a way of sneaking in references to the Tarot, as another form of a “stack of random cards from which your fortune can be determined” which is why there’s a bunch of Major Arcana as floor names …
I had to climb the tower. The description told me so. But it didn't say what I had to do when I reached the top. Instead, that's my choice to make.
The game is a short but fun experience about reaching new heights in an interesting setting filled with wonders. All I could think about was, "Please, do not slip, tumble, and fall!"

I did notice! I thought it was a nice bit of environmental storytelling :)
