I love the time mechanic!

The flame and the rest of the art are really impressive. I don't know if it is because it's based in the dark but the controls felt more responsive than the rest of the platformers submitted, so nice job! Also dodging drops the first time is quite difficult so  advertising it as some sort of memory game might make players feel more engaged when not doing it perfect the first time.

Sorry, I accidentally sent this like five times, my page didn't refresh, and I deleted the comments but they may have only been deleted on my end. Sorry for my overt stupidity.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I spent a while on the controls to make the player feel "nice" to move.

And yeah I think I made it a tad too difficult. Ah well, lessons learned.

Nice entry!!! Really. I loved that twist of having a "Miss Match". or at least that how I interpreted it.

I really like the art style lol, the flame is really satisfying

amazing idea oh tho i fail to see how it is related to the theme

Developer

because you're a match and you have to dodge (miss) the enemies.

thats a bit of stretch but ok

I dont think so, the theme is mismatch, so it has the word match in it. Fits the theme perfectly!

You literally play as a match and you have to dodge (miss) enemies.
