Very original setting!

Super unique setting!
Great flavor and a lot of thought clearly went into how the different inhabitants live and interact.
The "Running this Campaign Setting" section offers some really practical and fun advise.
Interesting player options with the Ancestries.
I wish we had gotten a little more mechanics to show how the setting players differently than others.
Also Monsters, gosh some cool bug monsters would have been awesome in this!
Thanks for all your hard work, lots of good stuff in here!

This is a fun little setting, and I do appreciate the couple of ways this incorporates Shadowdark's mechanics (mainly the Flickari being able to provide light once per day). Unfortunately, it feels like a setting made for its own purpose rather than something intended to be played with Shadowdark.

This is very inspired and well thought out as a setting, but for Shadowdark, it does not pull me in. IMO, this should be expanded upon as a system neutral setting, or expanded upon more deeply with a specific system in mind. As an initial rough draft though, there is a very fun idea here, and I hope you make more iterations of it.

This would be a hard thing to "sell" to my SD group.  That said, it's obvious how much thought, prep, and love went into the making of this wonderful little document.  I wish you all the best with it!

I like it a lot, cool ideas, good art. Need more stuff on how to run this with Shadowdark

Art direction is spot on, but the theme isn’t a good fit for ShadowDark IMO. YMMV.

Love the hand drawn stuff!

Nice art, interesting concept, and I appreciate how you offered suggestions for DM's who may wish to be silly or serious.

I like the art and writing.   My only question is with the buzzwing trait of buzzari. the text says "Buzzari can fly short distances with their wings," without any specificity.  I assume this was left vague intentionally for GMs?

My only two gripes are:
The Flickari ability of " Flickerheart: Flickari can use their light filled bodies to produce an hour of “torchlight” once per day. After which their body returns to it’s low glow which still allows the Flickari to see in darkness but not their party." seems antithetical to what Shadowdark is at it's core.

page 12 of the GM quick-start guide states "DARKNESS Respect the darkness. It is the true foe. Few things can hold it at bay, and nothing must make those prized tools obsolete."

I believe with the removal of the permanent darkvision on Flickari they could be quite specular!

Mantri's Third Eye ability has the same problem as Flickerheart. Moffami's featherweight seems fine. Nudibrai seems fine.

Overall I only have those TWO gripes with this product and both can easily be removed by my GM authority.  Not a bad job for what appears to be a first time publisher?  Well done!

Aha! thank you greatly for taking the time to provide the feedback, I am new to the system and coming from less survival based ones. The  two dark visions will be changed in the second draft which should be coming out before the due date.  As for the Buzzari, I imagine short distances as must land at the end of a turn kind of distance, so around 30ish feet, but it was left vague as I could not figure out exact numbers to assign it.
