“Let’s save the world by the power of games!”

-Accessibility for everybody (2)-
– Improving the Comprehension of Accessibility of Games –
Mission: Let’s design and develop digital games that can be played with handicapped and non-handicapped persons to compete each other!

We are very happy to announce the 5th Serious Game Jam which will be held in Tokyo on Dec. 9 (Sun), 15(Sat) and 16 (Sun) 2018 organized by DiGRA Japan Education SIG. International students and professionals are very welcome to participate in this Jam. Although the Jam will be held in three days, but international attendants may also attend only on 15(Sat) and 16 (Sun), please feel free to ask to the point of contact  (e-mail: furuichi.masakazu@nihon-u.ac.jp, Prof. Masa Furuichi of Nihon University).  In this game jam, lecture from the professionals in the domain field will be given on Dec. 9 (Sun), and team will be organized on the same day. For the attendants who participate only on  15(Sat) and 16 (Sun), organizer will help them to coordinate teams based on the attendant’s skills.   The topic of SGJ7 is “Improving the Comprehension of Accessibility of Games”, and the mission given to the participants is to “Design and develop digital games that can be played with handicapped and non-handicapped persons to compete each other”.  7 teams consists of 5 members composed both with professionals and students will develop 7 serious games.
