I honestly really liked this one! The level design and audio were really solid, and the VA really added a lot! I think The puzzles were well done too, though I did get stumped for a while on the second one as I had a hard time hearing the voice over the sound of the machine.
Thanks for the feedback, I did catch myself going to the edge of room 2 to hear the tape, so I agree that the generator is a little bit too loud. Subtitles were planned, but unfortunately we ran out of time.
Really cool to take the plunge into having some voice acting for the atmosphere. The unhinged delivery reminds me a little of Jigsaw from Saw and thought the personal vendetta nicely implied a context for the player's capture. Someone clearly had fun doing the voice for that. The puzzles were interesting and a mix of logic and relational ones. Sadly I also got a bit stumped! I could have sworn the six digits on the post-it note on the wall, being in the level all along, was the key. One to revisit when I've given some thought I think! Good work!
Thanks for the feedback, we did indeed take inspiration from SAW and the note on the pinboard is a deliberately placed red hering because the sentence it creates makes no sense, but maybe that was too difficult or unclearly communicated.
The game is working now! Very well done, this game looks very professional. I couldn't finish it because I'm too dumb to figure out the number puzzle. However, what I could do was very well done. The voice acting was particularly well executed. The only complaint I would have is when you first start there is no explanation or indication on what I was supposed to do so I was confused for a bit until I found the audio log. Good work!
