Impressive vibe. My only complaint would be, that after getting the hang of the games they became way too easy I got top score, and let myself die at 3 minutes because it was too boring to finish. Maybe putting it on 5 minutes instead, or more little game variety would make it better. Also a skip button for the intro would help replayability a lot. Good job!

The art, voice acting and layout were all top notch! Unfortunately I failed in the first challenge (it seemed almost impossible to click fast enough to break enough skulls to find the heart?) and then it skipped straight to the leaderboard screen instead of making me pick one of the cards like it said in the intro. Of course, I can tell where you put in most of the time and you can't address every bug so it can't be helped when you're on a time limit. But I can obviously tell that in addition to the great narrative stuff and aesthetic stuff you've put together there's a great game there as well! Would have loved to try the multiplayer as well!

As you identified I discovered 5 secs was a little to brutal, but only after I had it pretty cooked in. With this I had to simplify the mini games I intended as well as due to my other snags I hit getting it working lol.
The cards were supposed to be a big part of the game and add some variation, horror and further narrative I suppose they will have to go under the oveescoped umbrella...
Love the voice acting and gameplay! Got my heart pumping somehow.
I could definitely see the potential in this game! A sort of Wario Ware meets Saw kind of party game! Pretty damn cool. The low rez video at the start really adds, in my mind, to the over all feel of the game. The character graphics were well done and the dialog was decently voice acted!
Sadly, the mini-game brought it down. To be fair, this is mentioned in the description, but, still. The beating heart(s) challenges specifically… I know these kinds of games are supposed to be very short, but 5 seconds seems quite short to find one heart, let alone 2 or more.
Additionally, there is a lot of effort in the opening dialog discussing these fate cards, which, according to the dialog, come into play when one fails a challenge. Yet, when I failed a challenge, the game just instantly killed me. No dismemberment, and no fate card being chosen or played. I suspect it was a game play feature that got cut for time (which is a shame, as it felt like it could be a really cool system).
Over all, I feel this game could be really awesome if you can get in there and nail down the mini-games (and add more variety of them). Still, good job on what you have!

Thanks for the feedback and mentioni g the cards. I had high hopes and a solid vision in my mind. In game I was going to give each player 3 bars and an overview of their bidy for dismenberment view. I was going to have a shame, life, phyche bar to indicate different punnishments. Including things like "date night" card, spiders all the way to left or right tapper for eyes of hands to have fingers removed. Possibly a little intense. I was going to do it with short vids that plays and then effecting the overview and bars with only some having visual changes to character. You are right about the timer it sounded good and I only realized when I started play testing my toned down ideas should have done 15 second games probably.
It took me so long getting 3 players system working that and when I got to mini games I was in a real situation as they took building a new system again to make them work with loads of testing lol.
I was going to have hidden item, wordpuzzles, riddle, guessing. competitive. Mini top down navigation etc for mini games if I could get them to fit in time.

Overall, I enjoyed it. Visuals were great, voice overs were great. Would have definitely enjoyed more options of mini games :)
I gave the highest ratings for how polished the game feels. Still, the morals are obscure. Do you really want to play a character who is abducted, but also kind of enjoys to break skulls in order to find beating hearts? Whereas this game has aesthetics, in my opinion it channels brutal insanity, not hope or mystery.
This was a great start to a game. I agree with some of the comments I have read. I know you ran out of time for sure, but you did such a great job on the beginning of this game. It was very polished. It had the feel of like a party game with the three players and such. You should be very proud of what you have done here. I thought the art and sound was really good. I liked the idea and structure of the game also. It just lacks content unfortunately, but what a great start to a game, I hope you finish it up! Good submission!
