Very nice art and concept. I enjoyed how everything looked and felt it brought you into the game.
Hey convictedweirdo!
I escaped! Like others have said it is definitely pretty easy, but admittedly I did die one time cause I didn't realize you charged the flashlight at the battery stations lol Overall, great job though!!
A couple notes after playing:
- The controls were a little confusing at first. I wasn't expecting the WASD movement to be locked to world space and thought that W would follow to my mouse pointer. Once I got used to it though it wasn't so bad!
- This one is just sort of a bug report for you in case you go back and fix stuff. I was playing on an ultrawide monitor and some of the elements on the main menu get messed up around the edges. They like stretch out to the edge and then jump back to the normal aspect ratio. Then, in game all the HUD elements get pushed to the far edges. Would probably be good to just lock it to 16:9 to prevent that from happening
What I liked:
- The little messages and lore bits scattered around were great! If you continue the game, definitely spread some more around because it was fun looking around for them.
- The art style is fantastic! Everything meshes extremely well together and makes the game extremely tense. Makes me feel like I am in the Matrix!
- The sound design was nice and spooky! I really enjoyed the memo sound and the flickering light buzz. I definitely want more sounds though if you continue working on the game! Stuff to bring up the tension a bit more :)
Great vibes, Loved the gameplay, it was very easy to beat tho, Nice art as well.
Love the visual aesthetic! It has a very John Carpenter, sci-fi horror feeling to it. Good work!
I liked this a lot actually. I think this has a bunch of potential for a full game!
Very cool, loved the bit at the end when you turn on the generator. I think the battery life is too generous for how short the game is, but overall well done.

Wow, great atmosphere and decent mechanics, one of the best Gdevelop games I've seen so far.
Also, the generator turn on was a great scare!
Good job!
Nice minigame with promising mechanics, art and sounds! Small scope, nicely executed, GG!
Absolutely fantastic work on the aesthetics. Was a beautiful game too look at. I actually think for a game jam it was scoped fairly well, maybe a little on the short side but it's so hard to blame anyone for that in a game jam lmao. Maybe would be better to give the player less time. It felt very generous haha. Loved the UI as well, everything fit great. Awesome job!
I like the art and the sound of your game.
Every time my flashlights recharges and i see the shadows around me again. Nice.
It's just a little short and very easy to beat.
