the graphics and designs are really neat!! awesome job!! bunny spooked me :'-)
The ambient sounds and other random sound effects were top notch. I heard footsteps at a point and was ready to hide in a corner never to be seen again haha! Jokes aside, it's a good demo type of deal. I admit I'm was going through comments to find all the costume pieces and then the code, but you are already working on that part so I doubt I need to ramble about it ^^ Oh I also think the flashlight should be little brighter, that actually would make the process of finding all the costume pieces little more easier maybe. I found the environment to be pretty neat looking, but definitely the highlight for me was the sound design. I wish the jumpscares would have been little less loud, I had to turn volume way down and it kinda took away from the more subtle sound effects and atmosphere for me. Overall it was pretty spooky playthrough for me and I had fun nonetheless. Good work on this and good luck on future developments!
Thank you for the kind feedback! π©·π©·π©·
Juicy visuals, great choice of sound design, and a wonderfully disturbing rabbit fella. Didn't even need the jump scares to conduct a spooky environment!
And thank you for the nice feedback β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
Atmosphere felt nice with some juicy jumpscares. Solid entry.
Took a bit of doing but I managed to find 'em all. How's the door password supposed to be guessed? I remember someone on Discord talking FNAF and tried a few variants haha.
This demo's pretty neat, got some atmosphere to it, even if it does rely on its jumpscare. I do wish the flashlight were a little more flashlight-y and illuminated far places but it's a minor thing.
thank you for playing and for the feedback!
I'll cranked the flash lights . . . Light up a few lumen in the current version I'm working on.
And gonna add some more tens and atmospheric parts for sure as times comes!
Did you had trouble typing in the pin by any chance, or was that part ok fy? Cuz yeah I may have not included the code in the game. Focused more on getting the door to work at all in timeπ
I think there was a bit of a bug with the passcode entry in that if you failed, the last letter you typed would appear as the first letter of the new code. But that's easy to work around once you know what's going on. I don't think the passcode was in the game either -- think I just got lucky with intuition haha
Oh yes, I fixed that, it was an leftover from a jumscare. which I removed because it would be way too hard to guess the code with just a few tries. I just somehow forgot to remove the player position tracker, which can also somehow activate one of the buttons. Mostly the one in front of where the player is standing.
Thank you for your feedback again π
stack a little. but some jump scares got me
never found the last costume piece. what's everyone's success rate finding them
Can you tell me the ones you find? So I know what's too hard? Would be really helpful!
sure, writing in reverse to not spoil anything... hcuoc eht rednu eno eht dna trats eht ta eno eht ,smrofnalp eht no eno eht
ok ,so the same problem as everyone else. Good that I am already reworking the door puzzle then π Thank you for the feedback π and thanks for playing π©·
This was an experience. Great horror!
Cool game! The graphics were cool and I liked the style.
I did go outside the map accidentally after jumping off the couch onto the door frame.
I also couldn't figure out the button puzzle and had to watch the gameplay video. Was the code in the game somewhere or was I just supposed to brute-force it?
I also would randomly die at the bottom of the stairs after collecting one of the animals. I'm not sure if this was a bug or if it could have been avoided.
The jumpscares were really good and the style was cool, it just needs to be polished up a bit. Interesting game overall!
I thing the brother saw you and got scared. He does so when seeing you in the costume.
nice work, jump scares got me good lol
I couldn't figure out what to do with the buttons and couldn't find any toys to clean up that didn't just kill me. The flash light didn't work from a distance.
The jumpscare was neat. The downstairs was spooky. The sound was pretty good too, helped a lot with the ambience.
It's a puzzle. You have to push them in with all body force. The correct order is also important. When you have collected all 4 parts of the costume, you can collect the plushies.
I did figure out pretty quick how to activate each button, that was fine. I just couldn't figure out the order. Was I meant to try all the combinations?
Jap! No combination given at this point so no need to search for the code. Its XFAF. I am curently reworking the design of the puzzle.
That jumpscare really got me!
The concept is interesting, the menus are nice, and the sound design is effective. This game is pretty cool.
Lol I got really scared by the bunny jumpscare, really nice main menu too. the parkour was a bit hard
Starts off with a very cool looking menu!
Not much about controls of such, but I guess it was self explainatory when approaching stuff you could interact with. I didn't understand the carpet and "F, something i could use later" thing?
Also, JESUS the sound when getting close to the stuff. That jump scare!
I was really scared by the bunny that appeared at one time :)
Not sure how to find more than two items. Only found the suit and the thing in the bathroom.
I got some slender man vibes when playing it. Nice "cookie" on the flash light and very nice soundscape I think!
Well done with the game, although I got stuck before the ending!
Thanks for the nice feedback. I will add more hints for the hiding places in the future. The carpet thing is getting explained as soon as you colect alle the costume parts. But at the Jam end state of the game there are only 6 or 7 Lines of dialogue throughout the game. Gonna add more for sure!
- thank you for playing β€οΈ
the main menu looks amazing and the game looks pretty neat, but after I had collected 3 costume pieces but couldn't find the last one, and I spend a good amount of time looking. but besides that, a pretty fun game.
Fun game, keep it upβ₯
I added a video to the main page showing all spots if you are curious. And thanks for playing!
Thanks i'll have look, and replay your game! :)
Combine doesn't work
Do you have all costume pieces? (You need all 4 and then combine them, there is no direct visual indicator that you have combined them yet)
